NEW ORLEANS REDEVELOPMENT CENTRAL CITY PLAN

These plans preserve the historic character of the neighborhoods while planning for eventual growth as the city repopulates.  In the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Central City area – among the poorest and hardest-hit areas of New Orleans – is seen by city officials as a priority as the city repopulates.  Modus worked closely with officials, residents, business and community leaders to develop a master plan that dramatically enhances the look and livability of this important historic neighborhood that sits between the major traffic arteries of St. Charles Avenue and Claiborne Avenue.
