SHREVEPORT MEMORIAL LIBRARY; MOORETOWN

This award-winning, state-of-the- art library is a single story, brick masonry structure with a construction budget of $1.5 million.  The library has a central circulation area with the stacks, reading rooms, computer labs and multi media rooms fanning out from the center.  A 16 x 45 ft. porcelain tile mural depicting the local community history was added above the circulation desk.  The mural enhanced the interior beauty and formed a connection to the community that the library serves.
